Job Description
Solidus is searching for an Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, repair and test development systems and components.

Responsibilities include:
-Perform a wide range of engineering work involving the debug, test and integration of electrical RF, analog and digital components, hardware circuits, or systems
-Integrate, test and debug designs to meet or exceed the design guidelines
-Perform engineering analysis and review complex digital circuits, mixed signal circuits and microwave RF circuits.
-US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
-MS plus 3 years minimum experience, or BS plus 5 years minimum experience
-Experience in Digital Processing Systems troubleshooting, debugging and testing
-Experience in debugging and test of mixed signal circuit boards and hardware/software integration
-Experience with the development and verification of digital and analog design requirements
-Ability to train, supervise and coordinate the technical tasks and activities of support technicians
-Knowledgeable in a variety of formats and form factors including FPGA technology, DSP, DAC, ADC and memory devices
-Practice and operation of test equipment including spectrum/signal analyzers and oscilloscopes
-Executing software in a Unix/Linux and Windows environment.

Preferred Skills:
-Previous military Satellite communications experience through previous service, employer or equivalent
-Experience with Unix/Linux, Perl and Python
