Job Description
Solidus is searching for an expert in Optical Sensors and Systems with embedded programming skills to participate in all aspects of development and calibration of electro-optical space surveillance systems. Work will involve participating in the design, planning, development, implementation, and testing of real-time and near-real-time system software and hardware that supports various
data collection campaigns.

Requirements:
- Minimum SECRET clearance required, Active TS and SCI preferred
- MS plus 3 years minimum experience, or BS plus 5 years minimum experience
- Extensive industry knowledge, practical experience in developing, maintaining, and improving engineering
processes
- Expert in Optical Sensors and Systems with Advanced embedded programming skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication ability and ability to produce accurate documentation
- Knowledge of Space Surveillance Techniques with CCD sensors and familiarity of Visible and Infrared Electro-Optic Space Surveillance.
- Skilled in developing real-time embedded systems
- Candidate must have strong knowledge and experience in real-time data acquisition and control system development and implementation in a team environment
- Specific experience with designing optical sensors and designing user applications is required
- Candidate must be an expert in the field of electro-optics, motion control systems, and digital signal processing
- Proficiency in statistical data analysis, and astrodynamics is necessary
