Job Description
Solidus is searching for a developer who can rapidly design, develop, deploy, and test on mobile and web-based  server platforms. This role will be working on the Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) team who is engaged in a broad range of activities in Homeland Protection. In particular, this team has programs focusing on disaster preparedness, community resilience, and enabling HADR capabilities between the DoD and HADR communities. 

The ideal candidate is highly motivated to assist in disaster recovery.  Responsibilities will include creating daily damage and infrastructure assessment products with LIDAR and ancillary data sets to aid ongoing recovery efforts in Puerto Rico.


- Active Secret Clearance
- MS plus 3 years minimum experience, or BS plus 5 years minimum experience. Degrees in applied mathematics, physics, or computer science desired. 
- Familiar with Geographic Information System (GIS) and related tools, LIDAR, 3D data sets or image analysis. 
- Experience with ESRIs ArcGISs 3D capabilities is strongly desired. 
- Familiarity with processing this data through to final map and imagery products 
- Experience developing and scaling advanced algorithms or artificial intelligence to exploit large data sets    
- Algorithm Development with 3D Data
- LIDAR Date Processing
- Experience with GIS
- Experience with MATLAB and Python
