Job Description
Solidus is searching for an enthusiastic front and back-end software engineer to develop complex user interfaces using the web and mobile technologies.

Responsibilities include creating single page web application features based upon design mockups using modern HTML, JavaScript, and CSS techniques. This position will require collaboration with a team of application developers as part of a larger project. The emphasis will be on building user interfaces and interaction features needed for a variety of scientific model based applications.

- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
- MS plus 3 years minimum experience, or BS plus 5 years minimum experience
Direct experience with user interface development for the web and mobile
- Good software engineering experience and familiarity with JAVA, HTML, Javascript, and CSS, Android 
- Ideal candidates will be an expert in modern web and mobile technologies and a creative thinker who can make technology suggestions to the project leader, and be able to collaborate and follow the goals set by the team
- Must have great software engineering experience and not just coding experience

Key technologies candidates should understand are:
- Android and/or iOS, JavaScript (including various architectural and testing frameworks),
- JavaScript frameworks,
- REST-ful web service design,
- WebSockets,
- Web Worker 
- HTML5 and CSS 

- Experience with backend systems and databases is desirable. Prior experience in working with scientific models and real-time sensors 
- Experience with AngularJS, Node.js/Grunt, REST-ful web service architecture, and web security is a plus
