Summary:

Upper Great Lakes Family Health (UGLFH) is seeking a Women's Health Practice Manager to provide daily administrative and operational oversight of the OB/GYN clinic.  The Women's Health Practice Manager is accountable for overseeing the clinical and financial operations for Women's Health Services and serves as a liaison between the physicians, providers, staff, and the executive leadership team of UGLFH.  Integrates operational, financial and clinical management to optimize organization effectiveness, planning, organizing, controlling and evaluating the clinical care, achievement of budgeted objectives and development and achievement of financial, staffing and quality benchmarks. 

Responsibilities include general practice management, practice optimization, as well as improving efficiency.  The Practice Manager is responsible for building strong relationships with physicians, providers and staff to ensure smooth operations.  This position assists in the strategic planning and evaluation of the operational performance of the practice, quality of care and delivery, as well as competitiveness with other health care providers. The Practice Manager works collaboratively with other UGLFH leadership ensuring clinic goals and objectives are met on a daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Job Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or a combination of relevant education and experience. Bachelor's or master's degree in a healthcare-related field, preferred.
  • Prior experience working in either an outpatient OB/GYN clinic or Labor and Delivery Unit, preferred.
  • Active, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • Evidence of basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
  • Experience utilizing an electronic health record system.
  • Professional certification in Practice Management and/or advanced training in business management, preferred.
  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
