Summary:

We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. The CFO will oversee all financial operations, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure the long-term financial health of the organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will collaborate with senior leaders, engage with the Board of Directors.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee financial and accounting activities.

  • Develop and implement financial policies ensuring compliance with federal, state, and grant requirements.

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.

  • Ensure timely preparation of financial reports, dashboards, and IRS filings (Form 990).

  • Oversee grant administration, and submission of annual Uniform Data System (UDS) reports.

  • Support revenue cycle, billing processes, and the 340(b) prescription drug program.

  • Provide financial education to staff, providers, and Board members.

  • Build and maintain relationships with lending institutions and external partners.

  • Contribute to organizational strategy and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Implements, monitors, and directs goals and objectives of the financial operations in accordance with the organizational strategy and policies.

  • Oversees management of cash, cash requirements, transfers, and investments.

Job Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in senior financial leadership, preferably within an FQHC or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, 340(b) programs, and non-profit accounting.
  • Proven experience in grant management and financial reporting.
  • Certification in Healthcare Financial Management and/or CPA preferred.
